History

Asiong’s Industrial Products started out as a tiny manufacturing plant in 1995 in Quezon City, where its current founders, Danilo “Asiong” Ti and Luzviminda Ti, established its first store, offering local knitted gloves in bulk to keep other manufacturing plants and their workers safe from workplace hazards. Two years later, DuPont, a major safety apparel brand, licensed us to distribute Kevlar gloves in the Philippines. This partnership with DuPont would create ripples of change for the company; not only did we start offering Kevlar gloves, but we also started to import DuPont’s special Tyvek and Tychem suits. The leap to other safety products turned out to be a huge success. The newly-curated variety in our product range enabled us to supply to a wider range of industries. By 1999, we halted manufacturing operations entirely and decided to shift to importation instead. This marked our next chapter as a safety company. Asiong’s Industrial Products would soon import all kinds of safety products from all over the world. Over the next two decades, we would acquire licenses from different Asian safety brands from Shigematsu (Japan), Redwood (Taiwan), Safetyware (Malaysia), Ansell (Australia) and more. Today, Asiong’s Industrial Products continues to partner up with multiple major companies all over the world to cater to the different safety needs of the different industries we serve nationwide. At the heart of Asiong’s Industrial Products is a company that envisions growth in local commercialization, manufacturing, and enterprises, mobilizing safety in Philippine society.
