Shelf Life and Replacement

• Replace the respirator when it becomes dirty, damaged, or difficult to breathe through from particle accumulation.
• For exposure to arsenic, chromium, etc., dispose the respirator per every use.

Fit Test A fit test must be performed to ensure that the respirator does not have any air leaks, which can lead to the wearer's inhalation of unwanted particles and/or aerosols. To perform a fit test, press both palms on both sides of the respirator, and then inhale. The respirator should slightly collapse from the negative pressure. When this happens, this means the respirator is fitted properly. Otherwise, the wearer may adjust the nose-piece, position, and head-straps and try again.
